COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS & PROCEDURES:

Below are some of the measures we are taking to keep everyone safe:

• All of our employees are required to wear masks on property and all guests are required to wear masks when they are inside our common area spaces.
• We are significantly ramping up our already vigorous housekeeping standards, by sanitizing all commonly touched surfaces in our guest rooms including light switches, remotes, door handles, etc.
• Providing hand sanitizers and hand washing stations for use throughout the property.
• Increasing the frequency of our routine cleaning and sanitizing of our restaurant and common areas including the patio spaces, kitchen and restrooms.
• Encouraging social spacing throughout the property.
• Continuing to closely follow guidance from the CDC and our local government and updating policies and procedures accordingly.

CURRENT HOTEL OFFERINGS:

While we are adamantly working to protect everyone who enters our doors, we are also adding new offerings for our hotel guests to make your trip to Cuyama extra special under these unique circumstances.

Below are some of our current offerings:

• Contact-free dinner service delivered to guest rooms. Guests are encouraged to place dinner orders via text or call before 6pm. Dinner is delivered by 6:30pm, to be enjoyed on guests’ patio space or in the desired common area of choice. Beer, wine and spirits are available for purchase along with other snacks in each guest room. Click here to view dinner options. Specials (featuring local ingredients) will be communicated to guests!
• In-room complimentary coffee and tea stations featuring the same great coffee and tea from The Buck Stop Coffee Shop (Canyon Coffee and Teapigs tea)!
• Breakfast boxes featuring local farm and ranch ingredients available for preorder. Guests are encouraged to fill out a breakfast request form to have a breakfast box delivered to their room contact-free along with their dinner orders for the previous evening. Breakfast boxes are made to be kept in guests’ mini fridges overnight to be enjoyed at their leisure the following morning along with their coffee and tea.
• For guests who would like fresh linens, but may wish to opt out of in-room housekeeping during their stay, clean linens (sheets and towels) can be requested to be delivered to guest rooms in linen baskets via no-contact delivery.
• Similarly, sanitizing buckets (complete with a spray sanitizer, paper towels and gloves) are available for contact-free delivery to guest rooms upon request for use during stays if desired.

EXPLORE CUYAMA:

Our vast valley offers plenty of wide open spaces to safely enjoy nature and the beauty of Santa Barbara County’s high desert. There are numerous hiking trails in close proximity to our property to explore Los Padres National Forest (the trailhead closest to Cuyama Buckhorn is accessible through Aliso Canyon Campground). We also recommend picnics and hikes in Carrizo Plain National Monument, walks through town, mountain biking in Ballinger Canyon and scenic day trips to Ojai along CA Scenic Highway 33.
