3-Day Weekend: Option 1
FRIDAY
- 3:00pm: Arrive and check in to our roadside retreat
- 6:00pm: Indulge at the Buckhorn
- 7:30pm: Grab post-dinner drinks from The Bar and get ready for some friendly competition! Enjoy our outdoor games (bocce ball, corn hole, billiards, and more!) as the sunsets.
SATURDAY
Enjoy a full day in Cuyama! Make the most of everything our roadside retreat has to offer and explore our community.
- 8:00am: Start the day with coffee and a light breakfast at the Buckhorn.
- 9:30am: Hit the trails for a morning goat hike with Backcountry Ramblers Club.
- 12:00pm: Enjoy a picnic lunch on The Lawn, or take a backpack lunch to-go and explore the local trails.
- 2:00 - 4:00pm: Head to local winery, Condor’s Hope, for a wine & olive oil tasting.
- 4:30pm: Afternoon pool time
- 6:30pm: Dinner at the Buckhorn
- 8:00pm: Enjoy an outdoor movie and snack on complimentary popcorn under the stars.
- 10:00pm: Before hitting the hay, end your day with a nightcap at the bar.
SUNDAY
Choose your own adventure and go on a day trip to these nearby cities equipped with curated itineraries featuring friends of the Buckhorn:
After your day out exploring, return to The Buckhorn to relax by the firepit and roast s’mores to round out the night.

- 9:00am: Wake up slowly then enjoy your morning coffee & breakfast at The Buckhorn or on your patio.
- 11:00am: Check-out and if you have time, select a scenic route to take back.
